What is your role at Parkwind?
As a project coordinator, I manage the planning of projects to make sure they’re on time, highlight risks of delays and assess the impact of different events on project schedules. I also work on setting the structure of managing interfaces in projects - the points of contact among project parties.
What is special about your team?
What’s special about my team is the diversity. I come from a civil engineering background and work with colleagues who have financial, legal and technical expertise. As a team, we work on different projects, yet we usually gather on a timely basis to share our ongoing work and challenges. We’re always motivated to get the best out of all the different perspectives while making our decisions and solving problems.

Challenges and learning opportunities make it interesting to be at Parkwind. It is very special to bring learning and development opportunities to people. Here is an example about of project coordination: we don’t just follow a standard approach, but continuously assess the standard practice. With the goal of reaching the most robust coordination approach that best fits different projects. Also, young professionals are highly encouraged to participate in different challenging exercises.
What makes your work challenging?
It is about coordinating the planning and managing interfaces among different parties in projects which are usually located in different parts of the world. Applying best practices of coordination in various contexts and adapting to best fit specific environments remains challenging, yet so interesting.
How do you support Parkwind’s mission of advancing wind energy?
Parkwind’s mission is to make offshore wind energy affordable and available to people. The fact that I participate in controlling projects to be on time and coordinate among parties to deliver the work makes me happy. The outcome isn’t just about finishing a project, it’s about creating green energy for the world.
