Parkwind leads the development and construction of a hydrogen bunkering facility in the Port of Ostend in order to accelerate the increasing number of hybrid vessels and encourage the growth of hydrogen powered logistics in Europe.
The Implementation of Ship Hybridisation (ISHY) is a project that includes the development, testing and validation of technical tools as well as the numerous business cases for the implementation of hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell technologies in vessels and ports. The scope includes the hybridisation of CTV vessels used for O&M operations and includes the building of a network of H2 bunkering facilities at sea and river ports. The two pillars of the project support the shift of ship traffic towards carbon free operations.
